OFFICIATING INTEGRITY

The WFFI Referee Board functions independently to train, evaluate, and appoint certified female referees and assistant referees across all sanctioned national and state tournaments.

Referees undergo mandatory bi-annual FIFA/AFC fitness tests, video VAR simulation clinics, and sports ethics reviews to maintain national accreditation.

ACCREDITATION TIERS

01

Grade 3: District Official

Entry tier for local school championships and district leagues. Requires completion of state theory examinations and basic agility testing.

02

Grade 2: State Panel Official

Qualified to officiate state senior championships and zonal qualifiers. Mandatory 2 years active district experience and intermediate fitness clearance.

03

Grade 1: National Elite Panel

Premier accreditation for Senior Nationals, televised cup finals, and international friendly series. Evaluated continuously by certified Match Assessors.
